We are absolutely thrilled to officially unveil the new Vital Technology Group brand!
Following the consolidation of the various Vital businesses under the Vital Technology Group banner earlier this year, and a number of exciting developments here at Vital – such as our acquisition of Octari, the move to our new offices and increasing recognition of our expertise in the latest generation of technology services – we felt it was time to refresh the brand to truly reflect our position as a modern, forward thinking, people focussed and market leading provider of multi-disciplinary technology services to growing SMEs throughout Yorkshire and beyond.
It has been a truly mammoth few months of hard work and we would particularly like to thank the following for their contribution:
Wylde By Design for their excellent branding strategy and creative work; we feel they’ve really captured the Vital brand from a creative perspective – exciting, innovative, modern and professional – and helped us to really define and understand our company vision and values built upon Our People, Our Customers and our “Whatever IT Takes” approach. We started the branding exercise working with Wylde by Design to really qualify and understand the core values that set out who Vital is and how we work.
The result of this is four clear, concise and core values that underpin everything we do.
Next, we moved onto our Positioning Statement – what do we do, and for whom?
And how could we convey this in a short…..
And more detailed written positioning statement
We then looked at how best to combine the “who and what” from our positioning statement withe essence of the why and how of the company values.
The result is our new official Philosophy Statement
Finally, before moving on to the creative process, we wanted to choose a succinct, clear strapline that sums up our approach.
The “whatever IT takes” phrase is something we’ve used, informally and sporadically, in the past to explain our approach to service – we felt that this really encapsulated our go-the-extra-mile approach and feeds nicely into our core values of people and customer.

Wylde by Design went away having understood the business, our values, and what we’re looking to achieve and came backup to us with a number of branding ideas.
New logos, colour schemes, work-wear designs and more. We chose an idea that resonated with us, made some tweaks and over the coming weeks Wylde by Design put together a full branding identity the results of which we are delighted to be officially launching today!.
The last piece of the puzzle was of course this fantastic new website – built in house in just a few weeks – we hope you like it!
